Contest Upset?!

Are Sherm's dreams dashed? Will grouchiness be defeated again? You'll just hafta wait until next week to find out, I'm afraid.

In New Englandy News, former Senator Claiborne Pell of Rhode Island passed away at the age of 90. Pell created the college grants that bear his name, as well as the National Endowment for the Arts and the National Endowment for the Humanities.

Also, illustrator Edward D. Cartier has passed away at 94. Cartier was the chief illustrator for "The Shadow" pulp magazine. He also worked on "Doc Savage."

In Space News, Saturn's rings are vanishing.

And finally, vinyl is making a big comeback among audiophiles.

That's all for now. I'll have a new podcast for you later today, and then be back on Tuesday with more cooking contest action themed webcomickry! See you then!
